No Need To Shout And Pollen Presents:

July 3, 2010 (10:00 pm - 3:00 am)

St.Pauls After Party
GLITCH MOB(All 3 Memebers)
Benjamin One
TOrr
Time
10.00pm – 03.00am / £4/£3
The Glitch Mob is a four man musical collaboration with roots from San Francisco and Los Angeles. What initially started as a joke soon stuck as edIT, Boreta, Kraddy and Ooah found themselves playing the same shows and eventually tag teaming. This eventually led to the four man sonic onslaught of ferocious bass, head cracking drums and infinitely complex rhythms. Taking influences from hip-hop, experimental, and dance genres, The Glitch Mob have crafted their own form of futuristic dance floor hip-hop that has been “slaying” audiences world wide. Their live sets reinvent the dj “tag-team” concept with four performers on stage at once, interacting like a jazz combo, each taking the lead at intuitive moments, interweaving their own sounds, and remixing everything on the fly.

Their label –Codek Records, is due to celebrate their 10th anniversary and their new EP -Through A Rabbit Hole. Their corking Exexex release earlier this year came with some of the best remixes we’ve heard in a long time. Support comes from the live disco dramatics of Marcus Marr.
